82 civilians in Deir Ezzor killed by Russian warplanes in February
In February, at least 82 civilians were killed in the eastern governorate of Deir Ezzor as a result of bombardment by Russian warplanes, Syrian regime forces and ISIS on the city of Deir Ezzor and areas in its province.
In particular 38 civilians have died and dozens have been wounded after ISIS forces shelled government-held neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor as Al Jourah and Al Qosour. Among the victims five children and four women.
Other 25 civilians, including three children and four women, were killed by shelling from Syrian government forces on ISIS held neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor, while 18 people including seven children and three women were killed and dozens were wounded by Russian air strikes on areas that are not under Syrian government control.
