Assad militias kill 64 civilians in eastern Aleppo

64 civilians killed and over 140 wounded in yesterday’s widespread offensive on eastern Aleppo carried out by a number of militias loyal to the Syrian government.

A number of areas have been seized by Asaad’s forces leading to further internal displacement of civilians. Meanwhile Russian foreign ministry says it is close to an agreement with the United States for a ceasefire in the besieged city.

Aleppo Council has sent out a statement stressing the need for a halt to the fighting in order to evacuate the wounded in addition to civilians who want to leave eastern Aleppo.
